What is a wedding content creator?

If you've been on wedding TikTok or Instagram lately, you've probably seen couples posting candid, vertical videos the morning after their wedding. They're short clips that look like they belong on your feed, and they arrive long before the highlight film, which can take weeks. That's the work of a wedding content creator.

It's still a fairly new role, and most couples haven't heard of it until they come across one online. So here's how it works.

What exactly is a wedding content creator?

A wedding content creator is a supplier who films your wedding day as short-form video for social media (Reels, TikToks and Stories) and delivers it within 24 to 48 hours.

We're not your photographer or your videographer. We do something different.

Your photographer takes the posed, polished photos you'll keep forever. Your videographer makes a film you'll treasure for decades. A wedding content creator films the bits in between: the unscripted, behind-the-scenes moments that make the day feel like yours. The stuff your guests will want to repost. What does a wedding content creator film?

We focus on the moments traditional wedding coverage often misses:

How is this different from a photographer or videographer?

We get asked this more than anything else. The answer is simple: we work alongside them, not against them.

Your photographer works with posed moments and good light. Your videographer builds a film with music and editing. We stay in the background, documentary-style, and film the real moments that happen when nobody thinks they're being filmed.

We're also fast. Your photographer might take six to eight weeks and your videographer even longer, but your social-ready content lands in your inbox within 24 to 48 hours. You'll have something to post before you've unpacked your suitcase.

Do I need a wedding content creator?

If you're happy with photos and a highlight film, you don't need one. But you might want one if you:

• Want to relive your day on your phone, not only in a photo album

What kit do we use?

We shoot on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Mavic 3 Pro, with specialist gimbals and stabilisation rigs. The footage is smooth and ready for social media, and the kit is small enough that it doesn't get in anyone's way.

We have two packages: a Half Day from £475 and a Full Day from £700. Both include edited, social-ready content delivered within 24 to 48 hours. How does the day work?

The short version: you won't notice we're there.

We arrive, blend in and film things as they happen. We don't pose you or direct you, and we don't get in your photographer's way. At the end of the day we take the footage home, edit it overnight and send it to you, usually before you've woken up the next morning.
