Is a wedding content creator worth it?
We're wedding content creators, so you might expect us to say yes. The honest answer is that it depends on you. For some couples it's the part of the day they rewatch more than anything else. For others it just isn't needed. Here's how to tell which you are.
Why we started doing this
Most couples never watch their wedding video again. Not properly, anyway. It ends up on a hard drive or a USB stick in a drawer, beautifully made and never watched.
We know because it happened to us. After our own wedding, we noticed we weren't going back to the formal coverage. We kept watching the short, real clips: the moments that made us laugh, and the ones we didn't know anyone had caught. That's what we set out to make for other couples.
It's probably worth it if…
- You want to relive the day straight away. Your content arrives within 24 to 48 hours, so you're watching it back while it's still fresh, not months later.
- You love sharing on Instagram or TikTok. Everything is shot vertically and edited to post. No cropping, no editing it yourself.
- You care about the in-between moments. Getting ready, guests' reactions, the dance floor when everyone finally lets go. Formal coverage rarely gets these.
- You want something your guests will share too. A lot of guests find out we were there when they're tagged in a reel the next morning.
- You already have a photographer and want more. We work alongside them and film a different side of the day.
It's probably not worth it if…
- You're happy with photos and a highlight film. If that's everything you want to keep, you don't need us, and that's completely fine.
- You'd rather keep the day off social media. Our content is built for sharing. If you'd rather keep things private, a traditional film may suit you better.
- Every penny of the budget is already spoken for. We'd much rather you spent it on something that matters more to you.
What does it cost?
Our packages are £475 for a half day (5 hours) and £700 for a full day (10 hours), both with two content creators. You can spread the cost with a payment plan or pay in three with Klarna. We've written a full breakdown of what a wedding content creator costs, and everything is on our pricing page.
A simple way to decide
Picture the week after your wedding. If you'd love to be watching clips of your day, sending them to friends and posting your favourites, a content creator is worth it. If you'd be happy waiting for the photos, save the money.
